- 1 package Impossible™ Beef Meat From Plants
- Turmeric powder, 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander powder, 1 Teaspoon
- Chili powder (or as desired), 1 Teaspoon
- Salt, 0.5 Tablespoon
- Brown sugar, 3 Tablespoons
- 1 Stalk lemongrass, white part only (to blend)
- Garlic, peeled (to blend), 2 Cloves
- 3 Small shallots, peeled (to blend)
- 3 Pcs of Frozen Prata from SAKURA™ purchased from NTUC Finest
How to prepare
Step 1: Marinate Impossible™ Beef
Blend garlic and shallots until fine. Set aside. Blend lemongrass and squeeze its juice. Set aside. To one packet of thawed Impossible Beef, add the blended garlic and shallots, followed by lemongrass juice, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, salt and sugar. Marinate the Impossible patty for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
Step 2: Bake the Impossible Beef Satay
Once chilled, shape the Impossible Beef into sausages. (One packet of Impossible Beef into 5 large sausages.) Bake the sausages in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: Fry the Prata
To cook the frozen prata, reheat 3 pieces according to the manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.
Step 4: Assemble the Impossible Satay Prata
Finally, assemble your Impossible Satay Prata by placing the Impossible Satay on the prata. Optional: add your desired garnishes such as Lettuce, Thai Chilli Sauce or Freshly ground black pepper.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy!
