We don’t believe in a single dietary regimen for health. Rather, we promote diets that prioritize nutrient density, a variety of foods from the different food groups, and the enjoyment of a good meal. That’s why we strive to formulate our products specifically to be delicious, versatile, and full of key nutrients, all while imposing a far lower environmental impact compared with meat from animals. But we don’t just want to replace meat from animals, we want to make it better!

Almost everything we eat is processed in some way. For example: blending, mixing, cooking, or baking are all "processes" that change a food from its raw, natural state. Our products are made by mixing carefully selected ingredients derived from plants or by fermentation, to create something unique and delicious.

We strive to make plant-based products that are equally or more nutritious than those they’re meant to replace, including as a source of protein. Soy is the primary source of protein in our products, providing comparable protein to a similar-sized serving of their animal-based counterparts. Not only are you getting protein when you choose Impossible™ products, but you’re getting high-quality protein. Soy has a well-balanced amino acid profile providing all essential amino acids.

We take allergies very seriously, and we encourage anyone with food allergies or sensitivities to regularly review our ingredient lists (available for each of our products here), as we are continually working to improve the taste and nutrition of Impossible™ products, including through periodic recipe updates. Please note that all of our products contain soy. Impossible™ Chicken Meat From Plants and Impossible™ Beef Hot Dogs Meat From Plants contain wheat. If you’re extremely allergic to potatoes and typically avoid potato starch, you may also want to avoid Impossible Chicken Nuggets.

We encourage you to review our ingredient labels regularly, as we are continually working to improve the taste and nutrition of Impossible™ products, including through periodic recipe updates. We adhere to the FDA gluten free regulations which states, among other criteria, that any foods that carry the label “gluten-free,” “no gluten,” “free of gluten,” or “without gluten” must contain less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten.
