- 12 oz Package Impossible™ Ground Beef Meat From Plants
- Gyro Seasoning
- Tzatziki Sauce
- 1/4 cup Cherry Tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 Red Onion, sliced
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Pita Bread
Gyro Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 2 tsp Dried Thyme
- 2 tsp Dried Rosemary
- 2 tsp Dried Parsley
- 2 tsp Cumin
Tzatziki Sauce
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh Dill
- 1 cup Plain Yogurt or Plant-Based Yogurt
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- Kosher Salt To Taste
How to prepare
Step 1: Season the Impossible Beef
Mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, cumin, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dried parsley, and combine with the Impossible Beef. Form into three flat oval patties. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
Step 2: Make the Tzaziki Sauce
Peel and finely dice the cucumber, mince the garlic clove, and chop the dill. Combine with yogurt and lemon juice, and whisk in olive oil until fully incorporated. Season with kosher salt to taste.
Step 3: Cook the Gyros
Add vegetable oil to a pan over medium-high heat. Sear Impossible gyro patties until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Step 4: Assemble and Enjoy
Top each pita with Impossible Gyro, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and tzatziki sauce. Serve and enjoy!
